Graduation
The Low-Residency Master of Fine Arts (Low-Res MFA) Commencement Ceremony was held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in the Annenberg Gallery at PAFA’s Hamilton Building. The event honored the achievements of graduates Deanna Chilian, Ruth Hamill, Austin Jang, Kenneth Randle, Dora Savignac, and CX Timon. The ceremony was live-streamed and recorded. How do I view the commencement if I cannot make it in person?

How will students who are unable to attend receive their diplomas?
For any students unable to attend, the Registrar’s Office will either mail diplomas directly to students after Commencement to the address provided when you completed your Steps to Graduation Form, or make arrangements to deliver diplomas to students in their studios the week following Commencement. (Students who have not completed their graduation requirements including last remaining credits, financial account balances, outstanding library materials, etc. will receive their diplomas upon their completion.)
PAFA is a non-profit school accredited through the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
PAFA is an applicant for licensure with the State Board of Private Licensed Schools.
PAFA, like any other college or university, cannot guarantee that credit earned will transfer to another institution. Transfer of credit is regulated by the criteria established by the receiving institution. It is the student's responsibility to confirm whether credits will be accepted by another institution of the student's choice. All PAFA officials are required to accurately represent the transferability of any courses, programs, and certificates offered by PAFA.
