(Small sketchbook - orange, tan, and brown cover)
Morris Atkinson Blackburn
This sketchbook mostly contains rough figural studies. There are two carefully rendered cubist sketches, one of a dog's head, the other a female nude, as well as three abstract expressionist studies. Blackburn also wrote notes about a film project on lobstering and trap fishing in Gloucester, MA starring Carl Fiers, featuring "Tom and Stacy." Blackburn notes that his film alias is "Brad" and includes a scene sketch for one of his shoots.
