for now
A faculty-curated exhibition of artworks made by 1st and 2nd year BFA students, for now showcases the breadth of artistic explorations taken by young creators at the beginning of their journeys. Learning fundamental skills of form and composition and navigating material approaches to assignments and projects, these students demonstrate the range of practices explored at PAFA in the foundation years.
The early stages of any educational pursuit or personal endeavor set the stage for what is to come. As these young artists evolve their studio practices, they begin to hone their unique voices and develop their artistic identities. While their paths may lead them to new outlets and discoveries, we celebrate the foundation they have established within their practices. For now is only the beginning.
Join us for the Opening Reception in the Anne Bryan Gallery on Saturday, May 4th at 11:45am.
Artwork information: Aubrie Testa (BFA 1st year), a place to call home, silkscreen, 13" x 11"
