A collaborative project expressing reflections on hope, change, and the future.

An installation in the Broad Street Studio, The Nature of Things is a collaborative project guided by PAFA faculty member Erlin Geffrard and poses the question: What if the nature of things could change?  In collaboration with Jubilee School in Philadelphia, this project invited students to participate in creating a dynamic installation of three large paper-mâché trees.  Symbolizing hope, change, and the future, the trees feature a unique blend of text, collage, and painting on individual leaves designed by the Jubilee School students and PAFA participants. This collaborative initiative embodies meaningful, community-centered art experience, with each tree reflecting the collective vision and creativity of makers from both Jubilee School and PAFA.
