121st Annual Student Exhibition Preview Party
On Thursday, May 12, 2022, PAFA celebrated the 121st Annual Student Exhibition Preview Party, hosted by the Women's Committee.
To our sponsors, ticket buyers, and guests, thank you for your support! We salute the Women's Committee of PAFA for their ongoing support. Our thanks to the event co-chairs, Jill Durovsik, Marigrace Morris, and Kate Quinn Wright. Additional thanks go to Honorary Chairs Marianne Dean, and Jamie O'Neill and David Rubin for their longstanding philanthropic impact on the PAFA community.
On behalf of the entire Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts community, we hope you enjoyed a fun and festive night, and that you purchased some incredible art. Your support of the Annual Student Exhibition gives our talented student artists the gift of a lifetime: a PAFA education.
Student art in the exhibition is on sale through June 5. Be among the first to own works by these emerging artists by making your purchase here. A portion of the art sales provides direct scholarship support for PAFA students.
For more than a century, the Annual Student Exhibition (ASE) at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts has been the capstone academic achievement for our students. On Thursday, May 12, 2022, the tradition will continue, kicked off by the Annual Student Exhibition Preview Party, hosted by the Women's Committee of PAFA. Following the Preview Party, the exhibition will be open to the public from Friday, May 13, 2022 to Sunday, June 5, 2022.
ASE helps students launch their professional careers. PAFA’s MFA and BFA students have the chance to exhibit their artwork in a world-class museum, where it will be seen by hundreds of art collectors and art lovers. Becoming a sponsor of the Annual Student Exhibition Preview is not only an opportunity to support rising artists on the cusp of their professional careers, it is a chance to connect with fellow collectors and art lovers, and to purchase work by the art stars of tomorrow before the exhibition opens to the public.
The generosity of sponsors and ticket buyers along with those who purchase the amazing array of works created by PAFA's talented graduates provides valuable scholarship support to current students. Net proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships for the ASE Preview, as well as a portion of the proceeds from each student artwork sold, directly support PAFA scholarship funds for current and future students. These funds play a vital role in ensuring that PAFA can continue to recruit, educate, and support the very best and brightest up-and-coming artists.
Tickets to the Preview Party offer an exclusive opportunity to explore and purchase new works by student-artists before the exhibition opens to the public. Tickets for the Preview Party are sold at multiple tiers, allowing guests different benefits and entry times contingent upon their ticket level.
PAFA is grateful to this year's event co-chairs Jill Durovsik, Marigrace C. Morris, and Kathryn Quinn Wright, as well as the entire Women's Committee.
Additionally, PAFA salutes this year's honorary chairs, Marianne Dean, and Jamie O'Neill and David Rubin.
