Phyllis Laver
Phyllis Gellmin Laver studied painting and drawing at the University of the Arts and at Tyler School of Art of Temple University. She earned a BS from Pennsylvania State University and a MA from the University of the Arts.
Laver works from the model in graphite and oil paint. Her work has been exhibited in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. Selected exhibitions have included a Fleisher Art Memorial Challenge Show and Art Association of Harrisburg Invitational Show, as well as numerous group shows.
Laver has taught Fundamentals of Drawing, Life Drawing and Life Painting at PAFA's Continuing Education program and at Philadelphia University.
