An organization advocating for fair wages for artists, working with institutions to create standard pay scales for visiting artists, museum installations, etc.  

Bridge Programs

AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps is a federally funded voluntary civil society program that supports foundations, corporations, and other donors who fcous their work on public services, with the goal of aiding and improving the needs of a community.

ArtistYear

ArtistYear places higher-education arts graduates involved in any artistic discipline in low-income schools as dedicated teaching artists, to ensure every underserved student in America has an art education through a national service arts corps.

CityYear - Philadelphia

City Year Philadelphia commissions highly skilled AmeriCorps members to serve in 14 schools across Philadelphia to positively impact students of the city.

Jesuit Volunteer Corps

The Jesuit Volunteer Corps is an organization of volunteers who engage in one year or more of community service to support and aid poor communities in skill building.

Peace Corps

The Peace Corps is a United States government-funded volunteer program that supplies social and economic development internationally through technical assistance.

Public Allies

Public Allies is an American nonprofit organization that works alongside the AmeriCorps program that is dedicated to supporting young-adult leadership development.

PAFA is a non-profit school accredited through the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
PAFA is licensed through the PA State Board of Private Licensed Schools.

PAFA, like any other college or university, cannot guarantee that credit earned will transfer to another institution. Transfer of credit is regulated by the criteria established by the receiving institution. It is the student's responsibility to confirm whether credits will be accepted by another institution of the student's choice. All PAFA officials are required to accurately represent the transferability of any courses, programs, and certificates offered by PAFA.
