The School of Fine Art capstone event, featuring work by third- and fourth-year Undergraduate students, second-year Graduate students, Post-Bacc students, and third-year Low-Residency MFA students.

The Annual Student Exhibition (ASE) is a long-standing PAFA tradition allowing School of Fine Arts students the opportunity to curate, install, and sell their own works in the museum galleries.

The ASE also includes a competition for coveted museum purchase prizes and the Cresson, Rubens, Schiedt, von Hess, Ware, and Women’s Committee travel scholarships, awarded on the same celebratory weekend as the ASE Preview Party and the School of Fine Arts Commencement.

Join us for the Public Opening Reception  of the ASE on Friday, May 9, from 4pm - 7pm.

Exhibition is open to the public from May 9 - June 1.

Original student artwork is available for purchase throughout the duration of the exhibition—support emerging artists and take home a one-of-a-kind piece from PAFA’s Annual Student Exhibition.

124th Annual Student Exhibition Preview Party

Join us for the 124th Annual Student Exhibition Preview Party, hosted by the Women's Committee of PAFA, with 2025 Co-chairs Pia Halloran and June Marshall Smith, and Honorary Chairs Lauren and Andrew Addis.

For more than a century, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ Annual Student Exhibition (ASE) has been the capstone academic achievement for our students. The ASE Preview Party, hosted by and celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Women's Committee of PAFA is Thursday, May 8, 2025, 4:30-8:30 PM.

Proceeds from the ASE Preview Party support fine arts training at PAFA and event guests enjoy first access to the sale of our rising artists’ work, along with numerous other benefits. Not only is the Preview Party an opportunity to support rising artists on the cusp of their professional careers, it is also a chance to connect with fellow art lovers and become the first collectors
