Some Sunday Morning

"Some Sunday Morning," has a sense of otherworldliness communicated through a juxtaposition of colors and focused perspectives that utilize the tools of abstraction. The buildings in the foreground - sharp and delineated with pink - forms the antithesis to the hazy, floating cityscape below. An invented space, "Some Sunday Morning," with its low horizon line, owes something to the tradition of the Dutch 17th century landscape artists by placing the viewer above the vista.
