The book contains varied sketches including landscapes, figural studies, cityscapes, abstract sketches, anatomical studies and cubist portraits. There are also some notes on his work and a list of his patrons at the time as well as an announcement for a show at the Ellen Donovan Gallery, January 11-February 6, 1954.
