In this three week, evening lecture, join PAFA faculty and accomplished printmaker Tony Rosati for another overview of important prints and books throughout history.  Learn about artists in their context and the evolution of various printmaking mediums through three fascinating lectures:

  • Intaglio Printmaking Processes
  • The Method and History of Mezzotint
  • The Relief Etching and Illuminated Books of William Blake

View and discuss milestone prints and books from the collections of the PAFA museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the National Gallery of Art, and the Library of Congress.  Nix the Netflix and enjoy this compelling dinnertime conversation for anyone who loves looking at, and learning about, art!  Note: This class is lecture only. Students need not participate in Part 1 of this lecture series to enroll.
