Frequently Asked Questions
Can I visit the museum without my membership card(s)?
Yes, you can always access the museum as a current member without your card. Please stop by the Visitor Services desk so staff can verify your membership status. You will be issued a temporary member ticket for that visit.
If you need a replacement card, contact the Membership Department at 215‑972‑2077 or membership@pafa.org.
Can I bring guests for free?
Guest passes vary by membership level. Starting at the Dual Plus level, you receive six (6) guest passes per year.
Will I lose any benefits because of the new membership levels?
No. You’ll continue to enjoy all of your current benefits through your membership term. At renewal, you’ll choose from our updated membership options.
Where can I find a list of Reciprocal Museum Benefits?
PAFA members at the Ambassador level ($210) and higher enjoy access to two national reciprocal programs that extend your membership benefits to over 1,400 museums across North America.

INDIVIDUAL $85 (fully tax-deductible)
All general member benefits, plus:
- Unlimited free admission for one adult to the permanent collection and all special exhibitions

DUAL PLUS $150 ($60 is tax-deductible) Best Value!
All benefits for two (2) adults and all children 18 and under in the household, plus:
- Six (6) guest passes
- 10% discount on Continuing Education classes
- Discounts and early registration for youth classes and camps
AMBASSADOR $210 ($84 is tax-deductible)
All Dual Plus-level benefits, plus:
- Two (2) additional guest passes for a total of eight (8) guest passes
- Reciprocal membership to 1,400+ museums in North America through the Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM) and the North American Reciprocal Museum Program (NARM)
PATRON $300 ($120 is tax-deductible)
All Ambassador-level benefits, plus:
- Two (2) additional guest passes for a total of ten (10) guest passes
- Invitation for two (2) to exhibition openings
BENEFACTOR $500 ($320 is tax-deductible)
All Patron-level benefits, plus:
- Select PAFA exhibition catalogue
- Select access to private collections, behind-the-scenes experiences, and Peale Circle Trips
ARTIST $35 (fully tax-deductible)
All Individual-level benefits:
- Available to artists currently working in any medium represented in PAFA's collection
- NEW MEMBERS: Required to provide proof of current practice in form of a website, recent exhibition announcement, or social media page to membership@pafa.org
