As executive vice president and a member of M&T Bank’s Management Group, Bill has overall responsibility for Institutional Client Services Division, which includes the Global Capital Markets, and Retirement Services businesses, Product Strategy along M&T Insurance Agency, and ICS Risk Management.

Bill joined Wilmington Trust in 1976 and has held a number of senior management positions across the organization in retail banking, investment accounting, accounting operations, trust operations, and technology.

In 2005, he was appointed executive vice president overseeing all administrative and business development functions for Wilmington Trust’s Institutional Client Services business. Prior to that, Bill was responsible for managing all aspects of information technology and trust operations for Wilmington Trust, including systems development and information resource management.

Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Goldey Beacom College and is a non-practicing CPA. He serves on the board of directors of the Grand Opera House and the Hagley Museum and Library.
