Frederic C. Kaplan
Frederic C. Kaplan has an MFA and Certificate in painting from PAFA. He has also studied at the University of the Arts, the Barnes Foundation and the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial, as well as independently in England and Italy.
Kaplan enjoyed a successful career as an illustrator and designer for pharmaceutical, medical and industrial companies before returning to gallery art in the late 1990s. Since then he has been the recipient of regional and national awards and has participated in many group and one-person exhibits at museums, galleries, and other institutions.
His work is included in public, corporate and private collections. He teaches at the Fleisher Art Memorial and Cumberland County College, where he is a senior faculty member.
Kaplan teaches Drawing and Painting in the Continuing Education program.
