Photographing & Digitizing Work

Artwork Digitization Service

PAFA offers an artwork digitization service to photograph and scan a variety of artwork, including 2-D work such as paintings and prints, and 3-D work such as sculptures and ceramics, and more. We are currently a drop-off only service, starting with a two-week turnaround. You must prepay for this service. Submit a request using the link above, or contact us for help starting your request.

Our High-Resolution Camera: Using our Hasselblad H6D-100c Medium Format camera, we can reproduce your artwork into 16-bit images with a 100MP 53.4 x 40.0mm CMOS Sensor resolution and accurate color and lighting. We also offer multi-shot focus-stacked images for 3-D work.

Imaging Service: We offer a variety of services including color adjustments & matching, retouching, dust removal, proofing, cropping, resizing, graphic design. Contact us for help starting your project.

The Arcadia Fine Arts Library offers an assortment of multimedia equipment for educational use that can be used in the library or checked out. Library Equipment

The following equipment is available for use in the Library:

  • Computer Stations: There are ten iMacs located in the library. The computers are provided for photo editing, word processing, access to digital resources as well as email and Internet usage. Priority is given to those doing research related work.
  • Photocopier: A Sharp copier makes color and black and white copies on 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 paper. View printing fees.
  • Scanning Station: 3 Epson Expression 11000XL/12000XLs are available in the library. These 11 x 17-inch scanners are attached to a corresponding Library's iMacs. The photocopier can also be used as an 11 x 17-inch scanner and has a batch scanning feature.
