An Exhibition of PAFA Student Artwork

An exhibition that celebrates the start of the Fall 2024 semester, Open Call is a showcase of current Undergraduate and Graduate student artwork.  Students were invited to submit pieces of any media that exemplify their studio practice and current artistic investigations. The works range from painterly, figurative studies, to evocative narrative prints, and experimental, sculptural objects—demonstrating the diverse breadth of explorations emerging from the BFA and MFA programs.  A season of change and transition, the Fall embodies a time in the students’ journeys when the studio practice is getting underway, creative risks are being taken, and discoveries are beginning to surface with every stroke, mark, and touch.
