To Be Continued...
To Be Continued... explores the expressive and conceptual possibilities of the unfinished canvas. Conceived as a companion installation to the exhibition One After Another: Series and Studies, this exhibition displays a focused selection of works from PAFA’s permanent collection that reveal artistic process in visible and compelling ways.
Featuring unfinished paintings, canvas studies, oil sketches, and works that challenge traditional ideas of artistic finish, To Be Continued... invites visitors to consider how artists have negotiated the boundaries between making and unmaking. Rather than present incompletion as absence or failure, these works foreground experimentation, revision, and material process as essential parts of artistic creation.
