Untitled

Bruce Samuelson

This figure's contour lines hang off of its fragmented limbs as though the drawing has been left unfinished, or perhaps deconstructed. Bruce Samuelson thus engages with the practice of figure drawing and reveals the structure that would be covered up in a realist representation. He leaves room for the viewer's imagination to complete the image.
