Peter Saul is a painter and printmaker known for his satirical commentary on American culture, politics, and history. He is known for his electric color palette and comically horrific use of the human figure. Saul’s rich imagination is evident in his work, intensifying the relation of the imagery to contemporary events. His long career reflects his ability as an artist to adapt his aesthetics to the time.
