Spin into spring with pinwheels and whirligigs! Celebrate the changing seasons with these classical toys, versions of which can be found in cultures around the world - from China to America. Using materials found at home we will learn to make these colorful objects in creating and fun ways.
You will need:
- String/Yarn
- Cardboard (recycled cardboard from boxes is great for this)
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Paper
- Coloring Materials (crayons, markers, or colored pencils)
- Kitchen Skewer (or something similar to poke a hole in the cardboard)
- Cup or round object to use as circle template.
