Member Event: An Evening with PAFA Artists
127 South 16th Street
Philadelphia, PA 19102
Advance registration is required.
Join us for an off-campus members event at Gross McCleaf Gallery and enjoy a special walkthrough and conversation featuring artists Larry Francis (PAFA '71), Ted Walsh (PAFA MFA '11), and Howie Lee Weiss (Yale MFA '77).

Larry Francis
"The paintings of Larry Francis are full of a glowing delight, derived from a fascination with the atmosphere of city life. The joy infused into these works is infectious, and viewers might find themselves feeling nostalgic for a place they have never been."

Ted Walsh
"Walsh’s paintings highlight elements of place, memory, the environment and history. His style toes the unique line where deep connection to the American realist tradition meets modern influences, as felt in contemporary painting."

Howie Lee Weiss
"The larger drawings from Weiss are open-ended narratives speaking about humankind, while the smaller works focus on pure states of form. Despite the rigors of the graphic style, there is always a warm feeling of being handmade and heartfelt."
