Join us for a special Art At Noon featuring PAFA’s curators, Dr. Anna Marley and Dr. Brittany Webb, whose exhibitions Making American Artists: Stories from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, 1776–1976 and Gift/Deeds: Collectors at PAFA reveal how artists and collectors continue to shape and support PAFA’s mission to expand the stories of American art. Dr. Marley and Dr. Webb will discuss the two groundbreaking exhibitions, featuring over 200 works of art that span three centuries, provide audiences with a close look at how PAFA’s permanent collection was formed through generative relationships with artists and collectors, and champion their role in the making of the museum.

Art At Noon lectures are supported by the Behrend Family in memory of Rose Susan Hirschhorn Behrend, a former docent at the Academy and great supporter of its education programs.
