Lonnie Holley

Lonnie Holley is a man of many myths and talents. Self-taught artist, musician, and filmmaker, he started carving sculptures from sandstone and then settled on his preferred material: found objects. Holley was born 7th of 27 children during the Jim Crow era in Birmingham.
