Sandy was a long-time benefactor for the Cooper University Hospital, Larc School in Bellmawr, New Jersey, a special education school for children with severe disabilities, and the Norcross Foundation. Sandy is also a benefactor at WHYY, Philadelphia, and at The Society of the Four Arts in Palm Beach, FL

She is the mother of two children. Her interests include genealogy, history, design, architecture, and travel. Sandy collects contemporary art.
