PAFA Welcomes Jonathan Hirsch to Its Board of Trustees

PHILADELPHIA (March 20, 2019) -- The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) is pleased to announce the election of Jonathan Hirsch to its Board of Trustees.

Jon, of Philadelphia, is co-founder and partner of IG Wines Ltd. After stints in the medical technology sector and trading equities, he followed his passion and generations of his family into the wine business. He also acts as a co-founder and director of IG Mission Fine Wines in the US and Sterling Fine Wines in the United Kingdom. He is a Director of Infinity Labz, a software company, also located in the UK.

Jon was born and raised in London. He is involved with and consults on a selection of entrepreneurial businesses as well as presents on entrepreneurship at Imperial Business School in London. Jon will serve as a 2019 Bacchanal co-chair with trustee Emily Cavanagh.

Jon said, “It’s an honor to be appointed to the Board at PAFA. PAFA’s history and its pioneering education is something that very much appeals to me. I look forward to devoting my time to increase the visibility of PAFA.”
