Clarence Herbert Rowe
Philip Lagana
Much of Lagana's artistic production appears to have been portraiture in bronze or marble. Rowe (1878-1930) was a rising artist at the time of his unexpected death. His family commissioned to create this portrait. It portrays a very severe-looking visage with an intent gaze and prominent veins at the temples. A bit of the iris of the eye was retained to give animation.
