Step into Acrylics Workshop (In-Person) with Frederic Kaplan
Gain the basics you need to step into an acrylic painting practice. This in-person workshop introduces students to quick-drying acrylics, working in both thin, transparent layers and thicker, more opaque applications that create textural and impasto effects. Instruction will cover the use of fluid mediums, gels, and pastes, along with brush and palette knife techniques.
Students will experiment with limited and expanded color palettes while working from still life subjects. This workshop is ideal for those seeking a non-toxic, flexible painting medium, as well as anyone interested in exploring acrylics’ strong potential for both representational and abstract work.
Note: Drawing experience recommended.
