Portrait in Pencil Workshop (In-Person) with RA Friedman
Using inexpensive materials, this hands-on workshop introduces the concepts and methods needed to create a strong sense of dimension and likeness in portrait drawings. Students will explore the proportions and planes of the head, neck, and shoulders, learning how to build a strong structural foundation and simplify anatomy by breaking complex forms into basic geometric shapes.
Instruction will cover multiple strategies for creating a finished tonal portrait, along with practical tips and techniques to help you draw with confidence and clarity.
Note: Tuition includes a $10 model fee.
