Master Class with Christine Lafuente: Color Harmony in Tonal Painting
Brooklyn-based painter and renowned PAFA alum Christine Lafuente is back with an all new oil painting master class. Through live Zoom demonstrations and lectures, Lafuente will relate the concepts of tone, temperature, and key not only to color-mixing and paint-handling techniques, but also to an understanding of light source in the personal studio set-up. Instruction will guide students through a series of investigations of how different light sources affect composition, palette organization, and the building of a painting. Classes will consist of a combination of group instruction and individual painting time with one-on-one critiques.
