Join Director of Archives Hoang Tran and Teen Programs Coordinator Kristina Murray for an engaging online teacher workshop on how to utilize primary sources in your classroom instruction. Using PAFA’s archives of African American artist John W. Rhoden, teachers will learn to investigate primary and secondary sources in order to facilitate analytical discussions and activities with students. Additionally, teachers will create a primary source-based activity that helps students engage in active learning, develop critical thinking skills and construct knowledge.

This workshop is open to kindergarten through sixth grade teachers of all disciplines. Participants receive 3 hours of Act 48 and New Jersey professional development credit.
