Grab your friends and head to The PHS Viaduct Pop Up Garden  at 10th and Hamilton Streets for an art-making happy hour event with PAFA. We'll drop a little art history knowledge for inspiration and then get crafty with hands-on art making activities! 

Crafty Hour drink specials include $3 draught beers, and $4 glasses of wine. Plus bonus specials for Young Friends of PAFA and raffle prizes each night.

July 21: Screening the Scene

Contemporary art is fresh and new but also a bit of a gamble. How do you know what you buy today will be of value 100 years from now? You don't!  Many of PAFA's greatest hits were contemporary purchases - even works that are now considered American Art staples.  Drink up a bit of knowledge and then create your own contemporary screen print of works from PAFA's contemporary collection.  Glittering and bedazzling a la Mickalene Thomas strongly encouraged!
