Charles Muldowney is a painter, printmaker and writer. He has an MFA in painting from PAFA, a BFA in painting from the Philadelphia College of Art and completed graduate studies in aesthetics and criticism through The Barnes Foundation.

His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Church History and Art in Salt Lake City, Brigham Young University Museum of Art, Taller Galleria Fort in Cadaqués, Spain; Villanova University Gallery; Cabrini College Gallery; and Pratt Institute Graphic Center. Muldowney’s prints were selected by the Pratt Institute to appear in a two-year traveling exhibit to museums across the United States. Muldowney won the Violette de Mazia Trust Grant and the Ohio Liturgical Arts Award.

He teaches Drawing, Painting classes and at the Summer Academy for Teachers in the Continuing Education program.
