PAFA Welcomes New Member to Its Board of Trustees

PHILADELPHIA (September 26, 2018) — The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) is pleased to announce the election of a new member to its Board of Trustees.

ANDREW KRESS, of Villanova, is CEO and Founder of HealthVerity, which offers a cloud-based platform to discover, license, and link HIPAA compliant and de-identified healthcare data. Previously, he was Senior Vice President, Healthcare Value Solutions, for IMS Health. Prior to IMS, Andrew was the CEO of SDI Health, a healthcare analytics startup prior to its acquisition by IMS Health in 2011. Andrew has attended the Annual Student Exhibition (ASE) for several years. He serves on the Marketing and Technology Committees of the Board. He also serves on the boards of the Pennsylvania Ballet and The Agnes Irwin School.

Mr. Kress said, "I'm honored to have been elected a PAFA Trustee. Having attended the Annual Student Exhibition for many years, I've witnessed firsthand the talents of PAFA students and I'm pleased to be able to support their efforts and the mission of the institution overall as a board member. It's a very exciting opportunity."
