African King and Queen is the figurative abstract sculpture whose photo transfer is featured in one of two prints accessioned into the permanent collection by John and Richanda Rhoden in early 2019. African King and Queen was exhibited in "An Exhibition of Sculpture by John Rhoden" at University of Pittsburgh Art Gallery, September 11 - October 6, 1971 in the Frick Fine Arts Galleries; also in "Sculpture by John Rhoden" at Birmingham Museum of Art, Birmingham, AL, Jan 20 - March 17, 1985.
