PAFA Outside/Inside Tour: Uncover the Art & Architecture of America's First Art School and Museum
Ever wondered about that striking building? The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) invites you to step behind the scenes and explore our incredible architecture, rich history, and one of a kind art studio shops.
Join us for an exclusive "outside/inside" tour where you'll first marvel at the audacious aesthetic choices of "Fearless" Frank Furness and George Hewitt, on the exterior of our renowned Historic Landmark Building. Then, we'll take you inside for a special look at PAFA's Print Shop, a 7,200 square foot working classroom closed to the public. Discover the traditional printing methods taught today, from letterpress to stone printing, echoing techniques used back in the 1800s.
