Nadia Waheed

Born in Saudi Arabia but originally from Pakistan, Nadia Waheed (BFA 2015 School of the Art Institute of Chicago) makes partially autobiographical, large scale allegorical figurative paintings that explore female selfhood, choice, and cultural trauma. Exhibition history includes shows with Arsenal Contemporary NY, BEERS London, Mindy Solomon Gallery in Miami, and Gallery 1957 in London.
