Due to their large scale and minute attention to botanical details, many early American landscapes, especially those by Frederic Edwin Church, benefit from extended, close-looking to uncover the secrets they hold about the natural world.

Join Curator of Historical American Art, Dr. Anna O. Marley, Dr. Laura Turner Igoe from the James A. Michener Art Museum, and Dr. Franklin Kelly from the National Gallery of Art for an up close and personal experience with some of the masterpieces in From the Schuylkill to the Hudson.

Ticket includes admission to the 2:00 PM talk and book signing.
