Lauren Frances Adams is a painter who lives and works in Baltimore. She earned her BFA at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and her MFA at Carnegie Mellon University. Her work engages political and social histories through iconic images and domestic ornament. Lauren teaches full time in the painting department at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
