To celebrate Juneteenth, PAFA will be free for all on Sunday, June 18th. Register to be guided through the Historica Landmark Building and learn about it's creation, from design competition to opening day. The story of PAFA’s iconic building is a story of industrial innovation, artistic excellence, and civic engagement, all inscribed in the stone and paint of America’s first museum building. 

Join Dennis Robinson, PAFA's Visitor Experience Supervisor, for a behind-the-scenes look at how the building that launched American onto the world art stage come together and remains active as a maker-space almost 150 years later. Don't miss the opportunity to experience our architectural masterpiece and learn how the building inspired the 11 contemporary artists featured in PAFA's current exhibition, Rising Sun: Artists in an Uncertain America.
