Two students drawing in the Cast Hall

Join Renee Foulks, Chair of the Drawing Department, and the Office of Admissions on March 11th at 6pm for a presentation on Drawing at PAFA. Renee will talk about courses, her inspirations, and her method of teaching and mentorship. This event is free, conducted over zoom, and is designed for prospective and accepted undergraduate students. Please contact admissions@pafa.edu with any questions.

At PAFA, drawing encompasses all of our programs. The common language for all art disciplines and aesthetic philosophies, drawing is encouraged at every stage, including figure drawing, still life, landscape and abstract approaches using a wide range of drawing media. Technical abilities and a deep appreciation of drawing as a visual language are encouraged at all levels.

Renée P. Foulks exhibits her paintings and drawings extensively throughout the United States, and her work is represented in museum, college, corporate and private collections. Solo and group shows include venues such as the PAFA Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Delaware Art Museum and the Oglethorpe Museum of Art in Atlanta. Renée is currently represented by Haynes Galleries, Inc. of Nashville, TN and Thomaston, ME.
