Honoring the remarkable life of a great American and trailblazing 20th century artist with roots in Philadelphia, whose work will continue to influence generations of artists to come.

Solo piano performance by Randy Weston, one of the world's most influential jazz musicians.

  • Safiya Songhai, Niece of Barkley Hendricks

  • Richard Watson, Exhibitions Manager / Artist in Residence, African American Museum in Philadelphia
