Caleb Hahne Quintana
Caleb Hahne Quintana (b. 1993, Denver, CO) is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY. He is represented in Los Angeles by Anat Ebgi Gallery. Hahne Quintana has exhibited his work widely in group and solo exhibitions. Recent exhibitions include The Salt of Two Seas, Newchild Gallery, Capitulo IV: Historia, Galeria OMR, Fire, Figure, Fantasty, ICA Miami, AURORA, Anat Ebgi, Who Tells a Tale, Adds a Tail: Latin America and Contemporary Art, Denver Art Museum, Caleb Hahne Quintana + Peter Dreher, albertz benda, The Earth, It Held Me, 1969 Gallery, The Natural World: Part II, Alexander Berggruen, among others.
Hanhe Quintana’s work is held in the High Museum of Art (Atlanta, GA), Denver Art Museum (Denver, CO), and the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami (Miami, FL).
Through his work, Hahne Quintana actively reclaims his Mexican heritage—one that risked erasure for generations following his family’s migration and the consequent Americanization process. Sharing these and other stories honors and continues the journey his family embarked on generations ago.
