121st Annual Student Exhibition Preview Party

For more than a century, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ Annual Student Exhibition (ASE) has been the capstone academic achievement for our students. The ASE Preview Party, hosted by the Women's Committee of PAFA, kicks off the tradition this year on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
Sponsors and attendees of ASE Preview Party support student scholarships and enjoy first access to the sale of our rising artists’ work, along with a host of other benefits. Not only is the Preview Party an opportunity to support rising artists on the cusp of their professional careers, it is also a chance to connect with fellow art lovers and become the first collectors of tomorrow’s art stars.
Among the many successful artists who have launched their careers at PAFA’s Annual Student Exhibition are Njideka Akunyili Crosby, Bo Bartlett, Moe Brooker, Jonathan Lyndon Chase, Barkley L. Hendricks, Sarah McEneaney, and Arcmanoro Niles.
Funds raised by the ASE Preview Party, including sponsorship, ticket sales, and 30% of art sales, are a vital source of financial aid. 100% of current students receive financial assistance and would not be able to attend PAFA without scholarship support.
