New Editions by Teresa Baker
The Brodsky Center is pleased to present a preview of new works in handmade paper by Teresa Baker (Mandan/Hidatsa, American, b. 1985), created during her recent residency at the Brodsky Center.
Featuring the editions Here Is What I Did With My Body One Day and Accelerate Into Sunset, this special exhibition offers an early look at the artist's newest work before its official presentation at The Armory Show, taking place September 24–27, 2026, at the Javits Center in New York City.
Visitors are invited to experience these exciting new works and learn more about the Brodsky Center's collaborative publishing program.

About Teresa Baker
Teresa Baker creates expansive abstract works that combine natural and manufactured materials, drawing on traditions of landscape, craft, and making from her Mandan/Hidatsa heritage and family history. Through processes that incorporate elements such as yarn, hides, willow, and commercial materials, Baker explores relationships between land, memory, abstraction, and lived experience.
Born in 1985, Baker lives and works in Livingston, Montana. She is an enrolled member of the Three Affiliated Tribes. Her work has been featured in major exhibitions across the United States, including the 2026 Whitney Biennial.
