Points of Connection is a project from Mural Arts Philadelphia, in partnership with Fair and Just Prosecution and the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, generously funded by the Art for Justice Fund.

As the inaugural Artist-in-Residence at the Office of the District Attorney of Philadelphia, artist James “Yaya” Hough worked to humanize people living and working within systems of criminal justice by cultivating relationships and connections through his artmaking. The result is Points of Connection, a series of portraits depicting individuals involved in the justice system—formerly incarcerated people, victims’ advocates, and members of the District Attorney’s office—which are on display around the city of Philadelphia, including at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, through October 2020.
