Longacre's print, entitled "Mary Queen of Scots on the Eve Previous to her Execution," which was published in an 1828 edition of Hume's "History of England" (Phila., E. Littell). Longacre's print reproduces a painting by John Graham, "Queen Mary the Morning Before her Execution," which was exhibited in 1792 at the Royal Academy.
