Most recently, she served as Executive Director and CEO of the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, where her transformational leadership strengthened financial sustainability, increased attendance and membership, and elevated the museum’s national profile.

Kristen holds a B.A. and M.A. degrees in the History of Art from George Washington University. She is an American Marshall Memorial Fellow and has contributed to the field through leadership and advisory roles with the Association of Art Museum Directors, the American Museum Membership Conference, and the American Alliance of Museums.
