Susan is a Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees at Franklin & Marshall where she has served on the Board for more than 20 years and received the college's Alumni Award in 2016. She Is a member of the Board of Trustees of Einstein Healthcare Network and a former member of the KIPP Administrative Services Corporation. She is also the past President and a current member of the Board of Advisors of Rodeph Shalom. Currently, Susan serves as Vice President of the Barclay Condo Board.

Susan and her husband Leonard have three adult sons.
