Lisa Marie Hamilton lives and works in Philadelphia. She has a Master's degree from Tyler School of Art, received her BFA from the University of the Arts and has a Certificate in Printmaking from PAFA. Hamilton has taught classes and special workshops at the Brandywine River Museum, the Main Line Art Center, the Community Arts Center, and Settlement Music School.

She has broadly exhibited her work, including at Bridgette Mayer Gallery in Philadelphia, Downtown Initiative for the Arts in Oregon, Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory in Ohio and Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Her work is in the collections of the Free Library of Philadelphia, Villanova University and the University of the Arts. She is a member of Philagrafika, the American Color Print Society, the Mid-America print Alliance, and the Printmaking Council of New Jersey.

Hamilton teaches a course in Intaglio Printmaking in the Certificate/BFA program and Continuing Education program.
