Caitlin McCormack is a Philadelphia-based fiber artist. Her crocheted sculptures depict subjects in various states of decay, mingling with rhizospheric debris and half-forgotten nostalgic murmurs, exploring themes such as mental illness and the intersection of gender and craft. McCormack’s works have appeared in solo and group exhibitions at The Mütter Museum, The Taubman Museum of Art, Mesa Contemporary Art Museum, Museum Rijswijk, Hashimoto Contemporary, The Fort Wayne Museum of Art, and most recently at SPRING/BREAK Art Show in NYC.
